I was just hired by the IIHS and your video was a fantastic way to learn more about the work I'll be doing. I can't wait to deep dive into all your research so I can better understand the history of this place!

I own a car that also had stellar crash safety design for it's day. It still gets brought up in owner discussions, but usually ignoring that standards and tests have advanced over the last *40 years*. Any modern car would have better safety now.

Makes sense, I think there can be a huge attachment to vehicles that can make safety considerations less important and ignorable if it meant having to get rid of a vehicle you love.
